Some generous donors have stepped forward to provide a $2,000 adoption assistance grant for Ben, the 13-year-old boy recently featured on our blog (“Ben: Waiting a Decade for a Family to Call His Own“). Ben is close to aging out, and these donors want to help him find his family before it is too late. Ben’s orphanage has also agreed to waive half of the orphanage donation fee, making it just $2,500!
In addition to this good news, we also have some short videos of Ben to share. (If you are reading this blog in email format, please click through to view the videos directly on LWBCommunity.org).
Here he is making his bed….very neatly for a 13-year-old boy!
Next is a video of Ben playing basketball. He looks pretty good! Can you imagine how much fun he would have shooting hoops with a family or at school?
Last, we show Ben dancing (with his special “little brother” Bin following along in the background).
Ben’s big smile lights up everything around him! We are so hopeful that a wonderful family will see these videos and know that Ben is meant to be theirs.
Love Without Boundaries proudly advocates for adoption but is not an adoption agency. We invite you to contact firstname.lastname@example.org with questions about a child we have featured and encourage you to contact your local adoption agency for more information about China’s Waiting Child Program.
