Today when we got to the unit the first thing we noticed is that there were no more children in beds in the halls. All of the babies were well and the repairs look good (I know I keep saying that, but it is really very cool).

She is a 22-month-old toddler from Jiangxi. We have much to celebrate today because Rui’s surgery has been paid by the help of wonderful sponsors, and she is ready to pack for her trip to Hefei. Be sure to watch our blog for updates once the cleft trip begins.

With our next cleft trip right around the corner, we thought you might enjoy reading the story of one of our supporters whose daughter received cleft surgery through LWB.
Thanks to the technology of the Space Bag I have been able to fit 10 hand knitted afghans, 26 Beanie Babies, and 35 No No’s into my luggage.
Meet Heng (pronounced Hung). Hung is a 22 month old boy from Jiangsu province. He will have his bilateral lip repaired by our cleft team at the end of this month. He is a handsome little fellow! For more information on Heng click here.
