Chinese New Year 2013 Red Envelope Campaign

In China on New Year’s Day (February 10th this year), children in families receive money in red paper envelopes, and celebrate with large feasts, festivals and lots of time with relatives. However, there are many children in China without families to celebrate with them. There are many children who will not feast, and in fact, many who are hungry every day. This year, to honor those children and make a difference in their lives, Love Without Boundaries (LWB) is doing a Red Envelope campaign to provide a New Year’s gift to an orphan.

A donation to LWB’s Red Envelope Campaign will help feed children in Love Without Boundaries’ “Believe in Me” schools in rural orphanages in Huainan, Jinjiang, and Liupanshui, China!  The in-school nutrition programs for these Believe in Me Schools provide nutritious, filling, vitamin rich foods such as dried fruit, seaweed, and fish; nuts, yogurt, eggs, and milk.

You can give the gift of a full tummy to an orphan in China this year!  Online donations to the Red Envelope Campaign can be made here.

If you prefer to mail your donation in, simply place your donation in an envelope, and mail back to the address below. Checks can be made out to Love Without Boundaries, with “Red Envelope” in the memo line.

Thank you for the gift of HOPE to a hungry orphans!
