Hello,

My husband and I have been considering adoption. We have two wonderful children of our own and would love the opportunity to add to our family. Is Lente adoptable?

Thank you,

His warm heart and bright smile have won this family over! We are waiting for him as well. Going to get the application in and if accepted get things started- God willing-before he is too old to matched with his family! Hold on Henry- we are trying to bring you home!

He's doing great. He is taking in ASL like a little sponge! I was able to acquire an interpreter for him, even in preschool. It's all about advocating. We actually expect him to start kindergarten in the fall, instead of next year. When he came home he was basically four years behind in any sort of language. He's catching up fast. He was starving for a way to communicate and he has one that he loves.

We are all doing so well as a family. :)

I have met "Kathryn" in 2007 and in 2010 ... she had started at local public school and was doing wonderfully. She is a GOOD kid, helpful, interested, caring, committed to doing her best ... mischievious and funny ... happy ... "Kathryn" would do very well in a family with other children but she would also do well as an only child ... She would benefit from some compassion and attention to "girly" things such as hair and clothes as she has traditionally been the one who provides those things for others ... I think any family considering adding to their family would be so blessed to have "Kathryn" join them!

I would like to follow up with you concerning JD's schooling. We adopted last spring an older child and we're having a few problems with school. If possible, could I talk with you about your experience? Thanks.

We are the dizzingly delighted family that is adopting Pamela and Rochelle. We anticipate travel in March 2012 as we are just about waiting for travel approval. It was a LWB advocate the first introduced us to Pamela and it was this VERY picture posted above that confirmed to my husband that Rochelle needed to come home too. We are profoundly grateful to LWB in our own little family life as well as part of the world family in which they advocate. WE LOVE LWB!!!
