The only way love can last a lifetime is if it’s unconditional. The truth is this: love is not determined by the one being loved but rather by the one choosing to love. ~Stephen Kendrick
At Love Without Boundaries, we wish for every child to have the unconditional love that they deserve. To make this wish a reality, we offer adoption assistance grants when possible. Adoption carries a large price tag, and we know that every little bit can help a family’s dreams of adopting a reality.
Today we introduce two $3,000 adoption grant recipients: LUKE and DAVID!
Although we have been blessed to have these boys in our foster care program for a number of years, they have been waiting for far too long to be matched with families.
Luke is an active, playful and gentle six-year-old boy in LWB’s Kaifeng Foster Care Program. Over the years we have seen him progress in his speech, counting, start school, and learn skills that make him more independent. Even since we have known him, Luke has been having fun playing with the children who live nearby.
His smiles and silliness never seem far away!
You can read more about Luke in these blog features:
How this sweet boy melts our hearts. David is a shy child who has recently made a few new friends. We waited so long to see him flash us the grandest smile.
Regular readers of LWB Community may remember his smile from the pieces we have run on him over the last couple of years.
David is now almost ten years old. Over the years, he has been in both LWB’s Fuyang Foster Care Program as well as our Education program.
David likes music and is known to be a good helper. Over time we have seen progress in his language, particularly answering questions. He also enjoys listening to stories being read aloud. Although he missed out on a lot of early education, he does seem to be working hard to catch up.
In addition to LWB’s Adoption Assistance grant, David’s orphanage has generously offered to a reduction in the orphanage donation! Please contact our Adoption Advocacy Team at email@example.com for more information.
Please spread the word about the adoption assistance grants for these wonderful waiting boys!
Accept the children the way we accept trees—with gratitude, because they are a blessing—but do not have expectations or desires. You don’t expect trees to change, you love them as they are. ~Isabel Allende
Love Without Boundaries proudly advocates for adoption but is not an adoption agency. We invite you to contact firstname.lastname@example.org with questions about a child we have featured and encourage you to contact your adoption agency for more information about China’s Waiting Child Program.
