We brought home our beautiful daughter from China 6 months ago. She was on the special needs list for "severe hearing impairment, premature, developmental delays, enlarged spleen, anemia". I'm happy to report that her hearing is FINE (we think she had fluid in her ears, she is developing rapidly in all areas & she has no issues with anemia or her spleen. She is tiny (23 lbs @ 2 years old) but completely PERFECT. I am not suggesting that all SN situations turn out like this but we felt blessed to have the opportunity to adopt her (even if all the issues were still there). Please consider SN adoption - the blessings are AMAZING!

I am so overwhelmed by your site. My 12 year old son is adopted and we desperately wish to adopt again if only there were financial help to do so. I am planning a trip to China with the school that I work at and would LOVE to bring home siblings from China for my family if only it were possible. Please pray that it might be possible!
Lynn
PS - do you know of any financial help available? I am a nurse and we look specifically for children with medical needs.
