Today Is World Down Syndrome Day

March 21 is World Down Syndrome day, a day set aside to recognize and raise awareness for individuals with Down Syndrome.

Over the years we have seen the number of children with Down Syndrome in our foster care program grow, and we are thrilled that they get to grow up as a beloved part of their local communities. Many of the children we featured as waiting for adoption last year are still waiting in 2017, so we want to take a moment today to once again highlight these incredible kids.

Niamh, age 11
$15,000 Older Child Adoption Grant available from Reece’s Rainbow

Diane, age 10
$15,000 Older Child Adoption Grant available from Reece’s Rainbow

Timothy, age 7 (Qiandongnan foster care)

Mateo, age 6 (Tongren foster care)
$2,500 Adoption Assistance Grant available from LWB

Titus, age 5 (Qiandongnan foster care)

Axel, age 4 (Shantou foster care)

William, age 4 (Shantou foster care)

Dominic, age 3 (Xinzhou foster care)

We hope you will agree with us that these children are Down-right wonderful, and each of them deserves the chance to know the love of a forever family of their own! Please help us spread the word that they are waiting.

Love Without Boundaries proudly advocates for adoption but is not an adoption agency. We invite you to contact [email protected] with questions about a child we have featured and encourage you to contact your adoption agency for more information about China’s Waiting Child Program.
