Today’s “Believe in Me” school lessons were all about chicken, french fries, and friends in Jingzhou, Hubei Province. Part of creating bridges from life in a social welfare institute to a bright future is learning how to live in society. That means getting outside the orphanage every once in a while.

Our students enjoyed a visit to a local Kentucky Fried Chicken for some fun and celebration of the hard work they put into school over this past season. This field trip, and now wonderful memory, is thanks to a kind donor that provided one of the holiday wish list items from LWB’s website. We look forward to more opportunities for our students to learn and enjoy life outside the walls of school and the orphanage.
