Aadorable Aaron
Aaron turns four this month! He is one of the few children we know of who has been a part of each of LWB’s five program areas, and as a result we have quite a few photos and reports on this adorable boy. Since his adoption file is ready and with an agency, we thought it would be the perfect time to highlight Aaron through the years.
In 2011, Aaron had surgery to remove a spinal tumor (a meningocele) and received a shunt for hydrocephalus.
Aaron recovered from his surgery and grew stronger and more confident in our healing home program.
Aaron has been in our foster care program for a number of years. We have enjoyed watching him grow from a happy baby to a handsome little boy!
Aaron also loves to play with his foster mother. They will often kick the ball around outside or play a game inside. Besides having fun together, Aaron’s foster mother has been working with him to achieve new skills such as dressing himself in the morning.
In fall of 2014, Aaron begin attending our Believe in Me school in Anhui. Teachers describe him as very determined and independent. He attends school during the day where he is working on using scissors, drawing shapes and copying characters. When he is not in school, Aaron can be found playing outside with the neighborhood children or riding around on his play car.
Aaron needs a family of his own who can give him the love and attention he so deserves. We hope someone will give this sweet boy a chance!
