Adorable Drew
When he arrived at the orphanage, adorable Drew was six months old. An echocardiogram revealed this chubby-cheeked cutie was born with multiple heart defects: extrocardia, endocardia cushion defect, and pulmonary stenosis.
Within a week he was in Shanghai for life-saving surgery. Drew recovered so well from his surgery that he was discharged less than two weeks later!
Drew continued his recovery at LWB’s Anhui Healing Home, where he captured hearts and started growing bigger and stronger.

He quickly started to meet all of his milestones and became a typical little boy. It wasn’t long before Drew was ready to graduate from the healing home and joined a loving foster family in LWB’s Foster Care Program.

Now three years old, Drew has become a bit camera-shy! He should be ready for the next stage of his heart repair in September, but our hope is that this precious boy will be with his forever family by then. His adoption file is currently with an agency, and he is ready and waiting to capture the hearts of his future family.
Please contact our adoption advocacy team if you may be interested in being Drew’s forever family!
Love Without Boundaries proudly advocates for adoption but is not an adoption agency. We invite you to contact [email protected] with questions about a child we have featured and encourage you to contact your adoption agency for more information about China’s Waiting Child Program.
