Birthday Boy Victor

The last time we wrote about Victor (in “V is for Victor“), he was timid and seemed a bit sad.  When a stranger was pointing a camera at him trying to get a good photo, he had a difficult time staying calm and we saw an anxious little boy.  Well, just look at him now, celebrating his fourth birthday right in the midst of all of the other kids at LWB’s Believe in Me School in Changzhi!

Victor’s transformation is great news.  We also have some other great news to share:  Victor is the recipient of an adoption grant of $4,308 through Reece’s Rainbow.  This grant is in addition to the $1,000 adoption grant available through LWB! (You can read about his LWB grant in “A Victory for Victor“).

It’s exciting to see Victor’s confidence growing at school…but he needs a family to truly thrive.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful to see him celebrating his fifth birthday surrounded by a loving family?  Please help us to share his story and the fantastic grants available to help his adoptive family find him!

Love Without Boundaries proudly advocates for adoption but is not an adoption agency. We invite you to contact adoptionassistance@lwbmail.com with questions about a child we have featured and encourage you to contact your adoption agency for more information about China’s Waiting Child Program.

I may be too old at 58 to qualify for adopting again, but I saw Victor’s post and wanted to learn more. I’m also interested in other options with LWB as a special education and elementary education teacher, and technology specialist. My daughter is from Yueyang, Hunan and is 13.
