Celebrating Thirteen Years of Love Without Boundaries
Any time you have an opportunity to make a difference in this world and you don’t, then you are wasting your time on Earth. ~Roberto Clemente
In the thirteen years since LWB gained official status as a non-profit foundation, we have tried to make a difference in the world, one child at a time.
One child plus one child plus one child more…
Over thirteen years, this adds up to many children helped!
Thanks to all of you, thousands of children have been helped and have in turn touched the lives of those around them. This ripple effect is powerful and somewhat mind-boggling if you stop to think about how reaching out to transform the life of just one child can change the world.
It’s funny how much can happen in one year. Last year when we celebrated our twelfth anniversary, our eyes were firmly focused on China. Now we want to live out our name — Love WITHOUT Boundaries — and explore helping in other ways, in other countries.
In fact, right now our CEO, Amy Eldridge, is in Africa looking into ways to assist children in a remote village in Uganda. We can’t wait for her to return and tell everyone about what she learned and the ways in which we can work together to help kids like this gorgeous little girl and her friends and family.
Some believe that thirteen is an unlucky number. However, we are going to choose to believe just the opposite — that the upcoming year is going to be our most inspiring and exciting year yet.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for standing with us and for believing that Every Child Counts!
