Donations to Dingxi
The children at Dingxi SWI are warm, dry and comfortable (and look pretty darn good in their new digs), thanks to some generous LWB sponsors.
We were able to provide 30 bags of cloth diapers and 45 sets of baby clothes through our orphanage assistance program. Thank you so much to those who donated and made this orphanage assistance project possible!
The orphanage staff were so touched by this donation that they sent the following note of thanks:
We have received 45 sets of baby clothes and 30 bags of cloth diapers donated by you. Thank you very much. Dingxi is located in a remote region of northwest China, and is one of the poorest counties. We are so grateful to get help from you. With your donation, our kids can grow healthily and happily. Thank you very much for your great help to the kids.
On Children’s Day, the kids were very happy to put on the new clothes donated by you. There is a Chinese song, which goes as follows: “If every one gives a little love, the world will become very beautiful.” We believe the world needs love badly. If every one gives a little love, people will feel happy and warm. Getting help from you is our kids’ fortune. Now we can focus on the growth of our kids.
Thank you again for your great help to the children, on behalf of Dingxi SWI and orphaned children. At the end, we convey our best wishes to you.
