Journey with me . . . and see how far I’ve come!
The first year of a child’s life is filled with so many milestones and small celebrations.
As I look through the pictures of our children who have recently received surgery, I am marveled at the journey that has led them to where they are today, and all that they have accomplished along the way.
Jack when he first came to the home…bright-eyed, but tiny
Jack came to the home about five months ago as a newborn little guy. While at the home, he has learned to eat from a cleft bottle, learned to support his own little head, learned to smile (and, boy, is he good at that!), undergone surgery, learned to eat with new lips, and even mastered sitting!
I think I can…I think I can…
I’m not so sure about this part of the journey…
Look at me! I did it!
Pretty cute, aren’t I?
