Kick Off The Week Right with Ronan
Happy Monday! We thought you might enjoy kicking off the week with Ronan, one of the boys in our Huainan Believe in Me School who has been waiting to be adopted. His spirits are high despite the long wait!
When we last checked in with Ronan, it was summer of 2012 and he was five years old. In “Ronan, the Little Artist from Anhui,” we reported that this hardworking boy’s favorite school activity is art — anything to do with art. His teachers said that this fall he loved drawing with sidewalk chalk on the playground and asked everyone if his lines were long enough. He was very pleased when everyone exclaimed that his lines were declared “the longest of all”!
Ronan works very hard at everything and is unafraid to try things, despite his limited vision (he is missing one eye). He has a positive attitude that sets a wonderful example for his classmates. He is outgoing and kind, has many friends, and is good at sharing. Communicating with others is not a problem, and he asks for help when he needs it.
He leads the class in counting and listens well, obeys the rules, and cooperates with the teachers.
Ronan is obviously a very special boy. We certainly would like to see him kicking off next year in the company of his own family!
