Kids Making A Difference Through Team LWB

We often get requests from people interested in fundraising to help orphaned and impoverished children in LWB programs. This summer, we initiated Team LWB as a way for individuals to organize personal fundraisers on behalf of LWB, and many have already become involved.  Many of these enterprising fundraisers are children themselves, such as Emmalie and LinLan.

Emmalie

Nine-year-old Emmalie Mitzel was adopted from Jiangxi Province at the age of 8 months old. She says, “I like to help the kids from China since I was born there too. My family will be going on a 20 mile bike ride to raise funds for Christina (from our Loving ARMs Healing Home) to get better. I would like to raise $600 to help with her care for one year. If you would like to help me, you can make a donation here or let my mom know. Thank you. Emmalie” Donate to Emmalie’s China Hearts fundraiser.

LinLan

LinLan writes” Love Without Boundaries once helped me. I now want to help them to help others. In lieu of presents for my 13th birthday, I would like people to make donations to LWB so Chinese orphans can get better and more nutrition. Thank you!” Donate to LinLan’s fundraiser

Isn’t it inspiring that these children are empowered to make a difference for the lives of other children? What true examples of Love In Action!

If you would like to join Team LWB, here’s how it works:

  1. Choose your fundraiser – birthday, race or athletic event, special party or other occasion, church group, school activity, etc.
  2. Set your fundraising goal and determine a program or child you would like to support.
  3. Create your own personal fundraising page with your photo (or other photo) on our website for an easy way to share your event with others and to track your sponsorship donations.

Check out our Team LWB page to learn more and see all the fundraisers!
