Kylie, Back On Her Feet

Kylie, a beautiful girl in LWB’s Believe in Me Huainan School had outgrown her prosthetic leg and without it was no longer able to move around the classroom or her orphanage by herself. Her teacher and caregivers were having to carry her from place to place, and she wasn’t able to run and play with her friends.

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of a supporting family who also has a child with a limb difference, Kylie was able to travel to the prosthetic department of her provincial children’s hospital and was fitted with a new prosthetic leg that fits her growing body.

Kylie is now up on her feet again and running and playing with her friends. She loves her new prosthetic leg and can again fully participate in school and all the fun activities that she loves.

We are so grateful to our donors who make such a tremendous difference in the everyday lives of children like Kylie!
