Landon: Growing and Changing

Recognize this sweet face? It’s Landon!

It’s hard to believe that we first posted about Landon almost a year ago when we wrote “Introducing Landon.” He has grown and changed over the year, as children do. Now at five years old he never forgets a polite greeting of “Ni Hao, Ayi” or “Ni hao, Shushu.” Playing with his friends brings much delight to Landon. He can often be found competing with his friends to see who can build the highest blocks or even who can keep the room the cleanest! Don’t we wish more children were competing to keep their rooms clean?

Landon has needed no medical intervention from LWB for his congenital heart defect and no further medical intervention post-hernia surgery in 2008. He seems to be happy and well in foster care in Hefei, Anhui Province.

We were fortunate to receive this video of Landon busy coloring and drawing. He seems to be listening very well to the directions from the photographer!

As you can see, Landon is as busy as ever (see his last blog post, “Busy Boy Landon“) but is still waiting for a family. We hope the next time we show you Landon’s sweet face that he is in the arms of his family!

Love Without Boundaries proudly advocates for adoption but is not an adoption agency. We invite you to contact adoptionassistance@lwbmail.com with questions about a child we have featured and encourage you to contact your local adoption agency for more information about China’s Waiting Child Program.
