Meet Our 2017 Cleft Exchange Team
We are excited to introduce our 2017 Cleft Medical Exchange Team!
This dedicated group is headed to Phnom Penh, Cambodia in a few weeks for our very first Cleft Exchange in southeast Asia. The Exchange will run from October 16 through October 23.
Doctors who donate their time and talents are the heart of any Cleft Medical Exchange. Three doctors going to Cambodia — Dr. Kathy Clinch, Dr. Neil Derechin, and Dr. Chris Tolan, have participated in five LWB surgical trips!
This Cleft Exchange will be Dr. Travis Tollefson’s third LWB trip to help cleft-affected children.
Fifteen additional team members will be contributing their skills in nursing, administration, photography, writing, and of course baby-comforting throughout the week.

Thankful does not even begin to describe how we feel about this team of experienced people who are committed to helping cleft-affected children get the repairs that they need.
Sponsors are an essential part of our team as well! As of today, we have raised funds for surgeries for 19 out of 50 children. Donations received will be assigned to a specific child on October 16, and sponsors will receive updates throughout the week of surgeries.
