Noah was born in late November, prematurely with a heart murmur. He spent his first month of life in the hospital in an incubator until he was strong enough to be discharged to LWB’s Anhui Healing Home (AHH) at the end of December. Weighing just 4.7 pounds, Noah was too tiny and weak to even open his eyes, and his cries were barely audible.
After just one month of special care, Noah had gained enough strength for his cries to become loud and insistent, especially when it was time for his bottle! Noah loves his bottle! In between naps and bottles, Noah was learning to focus and attend to his surroundings and his nannies.
Noah has almost finished his stay at AHH, and we’re happy to report that he has gained much strength and weight. He is now able to roll over and play with toys and loves to watch the “goings-on” at AHH. Did we mention he loves his bottle? In the four months he has been at AHH, he has gained more than 11 pounds! Now that is a success!
