Poyang Parents team up to support SWI

Sometimes, the financial donations we receive through the Love Without Boundaries Orphanage Assistance Program are donated by individuals who have been personally touched by Chinese adoption, whether parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or friends.

And sometimes, the donations we receive are from groups of families combining their resources to send assistance to their children’s orphanages, such as in the case of our recent Poyang SWI orphanage assistance project. Through the combined effort of many generous Poyang families in the Poyang Parents group, we were able to send many much-needed supplies to the orphanage, including: 7 electric hot water heaters, 70 sets of baby clothes, and snacks for the caregivers at the orphanage (as a thank you for the great care they provide their children).

Now the children at Poyang can take nice, warm baths and be comforted by new, soft, clean clothes. Thank you so much, Poyang supporters, for all you have done for these children!

Kate Dlugozima is an Orphanage Assistance Coordinator for Love Without Boundaries. She lives on Long Island, New York with her husband, Mike and two daughters: Emily, 5, and Abigail Fujin, 2, adopted from Jiangxi Province.
