Seamus, a Tiny Bundle of Cheer
These rosy cheeks tell a story of cheer, happiness, and warmth!
Seamus, previously featured on our blog in “Seamus’ Smile,” is keeping toasty through this Hunan winter all bundled in his two sweaters, a thick coat, a pair of sweater pants, a pair of over trousers, socks, and cotton shoes. As warm as he must be, he seems happy as ever!
While he cannot see and only hears partially out of his right ear, Seamus explores with his hands and is delighted at each new sound. He is a bright light of curiosity and energy. He can walk well with both hands held by his foster mom and is able to walk some with someone holding just one hand. However, he prefers the comfort of having both hands held. Seamus feeds himself with a bottle and eats crackers on his own.
This little three-year-old boy keeps busy with toys and practicing walking all day. His foster parents in our Loudi foster care program find much joy in parenting him, and he enjoys being with them. He responds well to their encouragement and tries new tasks. Seamus is happy to play with different people he meets and enjoys being talked to and touched very much. What he really loves is to be hugged and to listen to the songs his foster mother sings to him.
Seamus’ smile and personality warm our hearts in the cold of winter and bring bright smiles to our faces!
Seamus is on the shared list, and we hope to see this tiny bundle of joy matched with a permanent family very soon.
