Sending Life-Changing Wheelchairs To Kids In Uganda

We were recently able to deliver four wheelchairs to children with special needs in Uganda. Although it took over a year to get them there, their arrival has been truly life-changing for a couple of the children in particular at the Mukono Healing Home.

Andre has been so excited to be able to get around quickly. He can push himself a bit, but he truly loves to be pushed around.

Everyone can hear his joyous cries when someone wheels him around outside.

Andre is blind and lives with cerebral palsy. However, this boy seems full of joy and often plays the air guitar, both lying down and sitting up! Andre is available for adoption.

Martin is also really enjoying the chair, and it seems to fit him quite well.

Matthew has very tight joints and obviously needs something to provide a little more support, but he is enjoying being able to be more upright throughout the day. We are looking into getting him a specialty wheelchair to help make him more comfortable.

A wonderful organization called Open Hearts for Orphans sponsors these children, and we are extremely grateful to them for their support.

Thank you to everyone who donates to our general fund to make special projects like this possible!

Love Without Boundaries proudly advocates for adoption but is not an adoption agency. We invite you to contact adoption@lwbmail.com with questions about a child we have featured and encourage you to contact your adoption agency for more information about China’s Waiting Child Program.
