Coats for Kids: LWB’s Featured Project of the Week

It is that time of year when many of us have been preparing our children to go back to school. Often that means new clothing, shoes, school supplies, and lunch boxes. It may also mean a new coat – now or in the coming months – to keep our little ones warm when fall comes and winter follows.

LWB’s Orphanage Assistance Program is proud to sponsor our Coats for Kids project. This project enables us to purchase new coats for children in orphanages and our foster care program to help keep them warm in the coming winter months. Read more.

A Cozy New Coat

Brrrrrrr….China can be so cold in the winter! Isn’t it comforting to think of Jayda and these other rosy-cheeked children from Fuyang Foster Care bundled up in their cozy new coats? The children’s coats were purchased by donations to the Coats for Kids program. Not only are the coats warm, but some had hoods that came complete with animal ears…and in one case, a trunk!
