Take My Hand To The Healing Home
Two weeks ago, newborn Baby Kirstin was found abandoned and weak, struggling to breathe.
The orphanage that took her in called us immediately to see if we could help. Of course, we agreed and rushed her to the hospital.
Baby Kirstin was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and given medication and oxygen in the NICU. Within a few days, this tiny warrior bounced back.
After a few more days, Kirstin was even giving us small smiles as a sign that she was feeling better!
We are so happy that we were able to say “yes” and essentially take Kirstin’s tiny hand in ours as we sought help during her time of need.
In this spirit, renowned artist Michael W. Hensley designed and donated a original painting just for Love Without Boundaries entitled, “Take My Hand.”
This striking 18 x 18 acrylic on canvas will be available for auction beginning tonight at 10 pm EST! For 48 hours, bids will be accepted for this one-of-a-kind artwork. If you would like to view the auction or place a bid, click here. The auction is set to end on Saturday, November 14, at 10 pm EST.
Proceeds from the sale of “Take My Hand” will be used to support children in our Healing Homes program…which is where we are hoping Kirstin will end up when she is strong enough to leave the NICU.
What an exciting opportunity to own this specially-commissioned artwork that captures the heart of LWB — and support children like Baby Kirstin who are in need of a helping hand.
