Victor’s Day at our Believe in Me School
Our Believe in Me orphanage school in Changzhi serves children with special needs who may not otherwise be able to attend school. Currently, 25 students are benefiting from the program, and we thought it might be fun to follow one little boy, Victor and get a glimpse into his days at school.
Victor joined our Believe in Me school when he was nearly two years old. Now, he’s six years old, and we have seen him blossom. At first he was a timid and sad little boy who was afraid of strangers and other children.
Now we see him getting along well and having fun with all his classmates.
Although Victor is still a bit shy, he participates in the activities his teacher proposes and plays with his friends. Here he is working on math by counting bears.
He’s beginning to show interest in helping other kids, and he smiles proudly when his teachers praise him.
We love seeing Victor’s progress each month, and we look forward to seeing his sweet face in all the photos we receive from China.
Our School Nutrition program gives Victor the opportunity to learn about healthy eating and to have healthy snacks at school.
And after eating…it’s time to brush the teeth thanks to our Lifetime of Smiles dental care program.
Not only is Victor learning healthy habits, but he wants to teach them to his doll as well!
Victor’s file is currently available for adoption. We hope 2016 is the year he finally gets a permanent home.
Love Without Boundaries proudly advocates for adoption but is not an adoption agency. We invite you to contact [email protected] with questions about a child we have featured and encourage you to contact your adoption agency for more information about China’s Waiting Child Program.
