Zayden, Ohanna and Qing Await Cleft Surgery

Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems. ~ Rainer Maria Rilke

Spring, the season of renewal, has arrived, and with it brings our 2012 Cleft Exchange! Only nine days left until lives are changed for good. Today, we have added three new children to the list of those awaiting surgery.

Babies Zayden and Ohanna will be traveling north from Fujian to Kaifeng for their surgeries.

Sixteen-year-old Qing will finally have her palate surgery through the Unity Fund. Qing has lived for years with an open palate because her parents are too poor to pay for surgery. Qing’s palate has caused her speech difficulties, and her peers often ridicule her because of the way she speaks.

All three of these children are in need of sponsors. We would be so grateful for your help in bringing a renewal to these three lives!
